ABOUT ME
Howdy!
What a pleasure to meet ya.
Born in Long Beach, California, and raised in Austin, Texas (from age 4 onward), I earn the “native Austin unicorn” title quite often. While my identity is Austinite-centric, my Spanish side has significantly shaped my values and the kinds of experiences I seek. I am a passionate storyteller, ex-ballerina, mediocre guitar player, and random hobby enthusiast.
I’m a junior at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Advertising with minors in Business Spanish, and I am a part of the Jefferson Scholars Program. On campus, I’m a performer for Gigglepants Improv, where I get to perform short-form games with a really awesome troupe. Overall, when it comes to education, I value an interdisciplinary approach wherein I’m challenged not only by the texts I’m given, but also by the conversations I engage in. What I crave most of all is connecting with humans through humor and empathy, and turning those connections into meaningful direction.
